Burak Tatar is a New York–based, multi-award-winning filmmaker and theater director. His work centers on instinct, the subconscious, and collaboration — often exploring themes of power, irony, and the unseen forces shaping human behavior.As founder of Infinity Films & Theatre Productions and co-founder of Theatre 8065, he develops original projects that challenge convention in both form and content.Selected Work:

Every project begins with the actor — their instincts, imagination, and experience for transformation where bold choices emerge through.Rooted in his training at HB Studio and years of practical experience, his direction blends rigorous table work, physical exploration, and moment-to-moment responsiveness.Whether on stage or set, Burak creates environments that is safe for collaboration, sharpen storytelling, and invite performances that are alive — honest, specific, and truthful.He trained at HB Studio under renowned artists, including Austin Pendleton, Jack Hofsiss, Jack Garfein, Michael Beckett, further deepening his mentorship-based approach to artistic development.
